One of the main reasons people use EndNote is to cite references. CWYW (Cite While You Write) is EndNote's signature feature that makes citing easy. Below are the steps to citing while you write a paper in Word:
Write-N-Cite is a Microsoft Word plugin that allows you to quickly insert and edit citations from your Legacy or New RefWorks account, adding them to your bibliography as you go. Write-N-Cite for Word is available for both Mac and Windows (32-bit and 64-bit). https://browncrafts685.weebly.com/blog/mac-os-x-mojave-installer-download. https://browncrafts685.weebly.com/blog/google-talk-for-mac-free-download. Delete any EndNote Cite While You Write (CWYW) files from this folder. This should remove all traces of the EndNote tools in Word. If you continue to receive a 'COM Exception' in Word, this may be due to issues with the Word preferences.

When you open an existing library in X9.3 and later, it will create a converted version for use with this new database engine. The original library will not be changed, so you can continue using it X9.2 or earlier. https://browncrafts685.weebly.com/blog/imac-mac-os-mountain-lion-download. EndNote's Cite While You Write (CWYW) function enables you to insert in-text citations in a Word document while simultaneously creating a bibliography for that document: Open your EndNote library and your Word document. Both PC & Mac users should see an EndNote tab in the Word ribbon.
